Lesson one (second year)

Becca entered the Plantology classroom with a sigh. Sometimes she wished summer would be longer; she hated having to go back to work, especially with the bills she got for a house she didn't even live in.

Sighing, she dropped her bag onto the desk and flicked her wand, dragging the tables into rows that would seat two a desk. On each desk, she placed one of the plants they would be studying today.

Melanie was rather happy to be back at school, and to be back in the classrooms, even though it meant homework.

But she liked Plantology.

"Morning!" She sang as she walked into the classroom and saw she was the first one there except the Professor.

Sky walked into the Plantology classroom with a half smile on his face. He was glad to be back and be able to see the people he missed over the summer.

"Morning, Professor," Sky said, nodding at Professor Mordred.

He spotted Mel, and made a beeline towards her. Taking a seat next to the redhead, Sky grinned. "Mornin', Mel. How's my wonderful girlfriend this fine day?" he asked, forcing himself from kissing her in front of the professor.

'I can't believe this!' Zytka thought over and over again while she ran towards plantology. She had been on the edge of late the whole day, and it pissed her off, she could see the classroom, when she slipped in something wet, and landed flat on her face the second time this day.

"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!" She snapped and stood up, feeling something warm run down from her nose. "Nosebleed too?!" She asked herself and grabbed her nose, not bothering to get a paper towel or something, she just entered the classroom, holding her nose, her sleeve was now all wet and disgusting, but she was glad, she didn't have to use white robes, like the boys, then it would've been ruined.

"Morning," Becca replied with a smile to the two first students who arrived. When Sky Ryder gave Melanie Frost a kiss on the cheek she smiled. "I saw nothing," she said, humming.

The third student to enter, a pretty redhead called Zytka, seemed to be in a bit of a fluster, and when Becca saw she had a nosebleed she could understand why.

Hopping from the desk, Becca moved round the back of the unit and pulled open a drawer, producing a box of tissues and a chocolate frog. She placed them on Zytka's desk and smiled, before returning to the front.

"This is a bit of a lack lustre turn out," she said with a smile. "Good summer?"
