What a life (Kristopher and Kay)

[Kristopher Tarren]

Kristopher was wandering around Pigfarts when he found the library he went and sat down on a couch and ran a hand through his blonde hair which he hardly ever brushes.

Staring at the walls of books he wondered why he stopped here of all places for it was not his ideal place to rest but he was there and did not want to get up and move so he just sat there and continued to stare at the books.

Kayleigh walked into a library and searched through books, looking for a book on dance. She needed to get away from magic, just for a little. She was overcome with it. Looking though a stack of books on the history of Pigfarts, she sighed, stepping back and leaning against the wall. She folded her arms, and looked around, spotting Kris, she gave him a small smile, then walked away, looking through more books.

Seeing Kay Kris got up and followed her for it was something to do. And since he was bored and did not know what else to do he thought it would be a good idea to scare her even. So he took a aisle that went horizontally instead of vertically and waited for her behind a shelf of books facing the next vertical aisle.

Kayleigh looked through books, with a slightly confused expression on her face. She took out a book and saw Kristopher's face. She gasped, stepping back. She walked over to him and smacked his arm, not hard, trying to hide her smile. "Don't do that." She said, folding her arms with a sigh.

Grinning at Kay Kris runs his hand through his hair after she had smacked him. This was more fun then he hoped it would be for her reaction was a little funny.

Holding back a laugh he said. "Sorry Kay please forgive me I am extremely bored right now and scaring you sounded like a fun idea." Not able to hold it in any longer Kristopher began to laugh uncontrollably.

Kayleigh raised an eyebrow and glared at him, then looked away and smiled. "It wasn't funny," She said, biting her lip, and laughing softly. "Fine. Maybe it was," She scratched the back of neck and looked at her book.

Looking. At the book and then back to Kay. "What do you have there?" He asked while smiling for he was glad that he finally had something to occupy himself and maybe take him out of the boredom which he was in. Tilting his head to try to get a glance at the title of the book he ended up tripping over his foot as he moved a foot at the same time. After faceplanting the floor Kris sat up slowly and rubbed his face a little.

Kayleigh looked at the book which read; 'The Art of Dance.' "Uhm. None magic related," She mumbled, looking at the book, then up, realizing he fell. She bit her lips, trying to hold back a laugh, and she took his hand, helping him up.

Taking Kay's hand he was kind of glad that she was there to help him up but he would never admit it. "Thank you I am so clumsy sometimes." He said while smiling again he ran his hand through his hair again he was not his usual calm self when he was around her for some reason and he had no idea why.

He just hoped that she did not notice anything for that would make their friendship awkward and he did not want that. Well he was not sure exactly what he wanted at this point in time.

"So what have you been up to lately?"

Kayleigh let go of his hand, and shrugged. She looked up at him and smiled. "I can see that," She smiled and laughed softly.

She looked back down at her book, and smiled softly. "You know, don't see why everything has to be about magic," She shrugged again, slightly rolling her eyes. "I mean, I guess I do, but I just prefer more muggle things." She bit her lip, she was a pure-blood, and she was raised to be vein and self-centered by her parents, but she never really wanted to be.

She looked at him, smiling softly. "Are you okay?" She asked, slightly furrowing her eyebrows.
