Not Exactly Prince Charming (Sky/Kayleigh)

Sky's mind was reeling. He had too much stuff on his mind to think clearly. Ever since he came to this school, he's had some experiences that he would've never had at home. There was Jessica for one thing. And Melanie for another. Two totally different girls with two totally different effects on him.

He shook his head, hoping that this action would help clear the typhoon of thoughts that his brain held. It didn't help, but it did temporarily disorient him. He stopped for a second, shutting his eyes tight. Taking a deep breath, he continued to walk forward, his eyes opening slowly.The lack of visibility this action provided caused him to bump into a cute blond.

"Oh, Merlin! I'm so sorry!" Sky said, reaching out a hand to help her up.

Kayleigh's head was still deep in thought about the girl she'd met. She'd never hated anyone, especially when she's never even met the person. She stared at the floor biting her lip, as she pushed her hair off of her face. She accidently bumped into a boy she'd seen around, but never really talked to. As he helped her up, she smoothed over her skirt and looked up at him. "It's okay." She shrugged, picking up the few books she was holding.

Sky looked the girl over from head to toe and back up as he helped her up. She was really attractive. Sky smirked, the corners of lips twitching up as he regarded her with interest.

"Hi, I'm Sky," he said, extending his hand out in greeting.

"Do you usually run into complete strangers like this?" he asked, crossing his arms over his chest, the smirk never leaving his face.

Kayleigh felt his eyes on her, she bit her lip softly, then let go of it, feeling self-consious. She glanced down, then back up at him.

She shook his hand, slightly raising her eyebrows. "Kayleigh. Call me Kay." She looked at his face, "Not really, no." She shook her head, half of her lip turning into a wicked smile.

Sky grinned as he noticed how uncomfortable the blond looked. It gave him a sense of accomplishment. He had no idea why, it just did.

"So, I guess that means I'm special, huh?" he asked the girl, Kay, his grin growing bigger.

"Do you need some help with those books?" Sky asked, noticing them for the first time.

Okay, thoughts = oblivious actions, Sky told himself.

Kayleigh tilted her head slightly, her eyebrows softly raised. She pushed her hair out of her face, holding her books in one hand.

She pursed her lips, "Guess so," She said, her voice neutral, as she raised an eyebrow.

"Well, um, sure." She looked down at her books, then up at him.

Internally, Sky was nodding his head in approval. Kay definitely wasn't like most girls. Most girls would be swooning, blushing, and/or stuttering right about now. He liked that she didn't do any of those three things.

"Ya know," Sky said, grabbing the books from her hands, "you're different. But, a good type of different."

Smiling, he lifted up the books slightly. "Where were you going with these?" he asked.

Kayleigh smiled softly, as she looked at him. She tilted her head to the side slightly, as she raised an eyebrow again. "Thanks." She was wondering what he thought about her. She didn't really like players, because she knew they didn't care about mostly anyone but themselves, but he seemed different.

She looked down, then glanced away. "Um, back to my house." She shrugged lightly, playing with a few rings she had on.
