Studying Sucks. [Aur/Scar]

[Scarlett Fabray]

Scarlett walked into the book store, looking annoyed, as usual. She hated studying, but somehow learning about Veela's seemed interesting to her. She loved knowing she was a Veela and that they were gorgeous. She walked around the aisles, not really paying attention.

[Aurelie Bones]

Aurelie skipped into the Bookstore. There was a musty, bookish scent there, and she breathed it in deeply, smiling.

Turning the corner, she skidded to a stop, but not fast enough to stop herself bumping into a pretty girl.

"i'm so sorry!"

(OOC: so we pretend to be friends, but we're really enemies, right? How about we're downright enemies and have catfights? )

OOC: We pretend to be friends for show, but really we can't stand eachother, and when noboy's around we're at eachother's throats. >

Scarlett looked through a few books, and picked one up on Veela's as she felt someone bump into her, making her drop the book.
She turned around, and gave the girl a vicious glare. "Watch it," She hissed, picking her bag up.

[Aurelie Bones]

Aurelie felt the girl's anger and was shocked. After all, they'd only just met! But she responded angrily. "Well, I said I was sorry, but maybe under that wig you couldn't hear."

(Yeah yeah, so maybe i'm not the best at insults. Okay, dokey, and do you want to try and steal Jaffle? That would be fun if I got into a catfight with you.)

OOC; Uh, I guess, just run the idea past Jaffles first. ^^

Scarlett rolled her eyes. "Sorry, what did you say?" She took a step closer to her, her glare deepened. "You don't wanna go there." She said sharply, crossing her arms.

[Aurelie Bones]

"Oh yes I do," Aurelie said, staying firmly where she was. "You started it. Anyway, my hair at least looks natural." The girl was pretty, in a dangerous way.

Scarlett rolled her eyes putting on a smile of pleasure. "I don't dye my hair, sweetie. And at least my hair isn't the color of mud." She said brightly, as her smile disappeared.

OOC; Hehe, this is fun. >

[Aurelie Bones]

"My hair isn't the color of mud dear," Aurelie said. "It's yellow-brown. Of course, you'd have to have a brain to know the difference." She smiled.

(OOC: Agreed. )

[Scarlett Fabray]

"Yellow-brown whatever, it still looks like crap either way." Scarlett rolled her eyes, slightly walking away, down the aisle, looking through more books.

[Aurelie Bones]

Aurie cringed as the book owner appeared. "Girls, what's going on here?" he snapped.
"Nothing," Aurelie said cheerfully. "We're just having a friendly laugh. Ha-ha. Right, uh..Bottleblonde?" She smiled with effort at the girl.

"Well," huffed the store owner. "Then you wouldn't mind if I told you that you two are kicked out."

Aurie's mouth dropped open. "No way!" she cried. "How? We weren't even talking loudly or anything!"

The store owner frowned. "Yes you were. Very loudly."

Scarlett rolled her eyes at the storeowner.
"Please, let us stay." She smiled, looking into his eyes, and batting her eyelashes.

The storeowner was a large, burly man and Scar's smile melted him. "Well...I guess it wouldn't hurtt...." He lumbered away.

Aurie turned to the girl. "You're part veela, aren't you? Slag."

Scarlett looked at her and glared. "Do you wanna be kicked out? No. I didn't think so." She folded her arms, and looked at her.

[Aurelie Bones]

"If I didn't need a book so badly, I wouldn't even bother staying here," Aurie spat, heading towards the book in question.

(OOC: How about they both want the same book.)

OOC; Scar wants a book on Veela's sooo..

Scarlett rolled her eyes. "Next time I'll blame it on you." She shot a death glare at her, before taking the book Aurelie was about to pick up and walking off.

[Aurelie Bones]

Aurelie reached out and snagged the book from Scar with no problem. "I'm sorry. I'm sure the author didn't mean to write this book for idiots like you. Go find a life. That lonely brain cell of yours rattling around your head could use another one or two."

[Scarlett Fabray]

"I'm sorry. I think the bird that layed eggs in your hair may have left some trash, that seeped into your brain." Scarlett hissed, yanking it back. "Give it to me," She growled, glaring at her.

[Aurelie Bones]

"Uh-uh." Aurelie snatched it back and headed towards the counter. "Unfortunately, the only trash around here is you. Go take a trip to the garbage can, will you? Do a favor to the world."

[Scarlett Fabray]

Scarlett looked at the man behind the counter and pouted, and batted her eyelashes. "She stole my book." She said, her eyes filling with fake tears.

[Aurelie Bones]

The man growled at Aurelie. "OUT. NOW."

Aurelie stared at the girl. "But Bottleblonde! Why would you do this to your best friend?" Her eyes filled with hurt.

The man stared at both of them. "Missy, I think you should get out," he said-to Aurie. "And you too," he said, looking at Scar. "I don't want no trouble in here."

[Scarlett Fabray]

Scarlett scoffed. 'You shouldn't have done that,' She growled, walking out.

[Aurelie Bones]

"Well it's not my fault miss 'Everyone should bow down to me'!" Aurie snapped. "I had no idea veela were this narcassistic."

(Hmm...so what should we do next?)

[Scarlett Fabray]

Scarlett smiled fakely. "I use my power to my advance." She smirked. "And if you weren't so annoying, maybe I wouldn't use it against you." She folded her arms, and rolled her eyes.

[Aurelie Bones]

"Please. When I find the overwhelming urge to bow down to you, I'lll let you know. Oh wait. It's not there, is it? Face it, your power doesn't work on me, you slag." Aurie rolled her eyes.

[Scarlett Fabray]

"Mhm, but it does work on just about every other guy there is." Scarlett's lips curving into a warm smile, more so evil then nice.
