Lesson 2-Second Years

[Terra Coleko]

Terra was in an irritated mood. She had calmed down from her earlier anger towards her house's place in the interhouse competition, but she still wasn't in her usual good mood.

Letting out a long sigh, Terra wrote the words 'Magic on Mars: The Myths and the Facts' on the bored.

Mel walked into Terra's classroom, yawning.
She was too tired for life.

She waved at Ter but then stopped when she saw the the woman wasn't that happy looking.
"Day Ter," she greeted, walking towards Terra's desk instead of her own. "Can you charm me a mattress to sleep on?"

[Jack Holloway]

Jack entered the History of magic classroom rather sheepishly that morning. They had lost a lot of points and he was pretty sure his head of house wasn't going to be particularly pleased.

It only made matters worse that he was the only student from his house to have arrived. He shrugged.

Better be there now than later. He had learnt that better late than never was not appreciated here.

"Hey, Miss," he said politely, before taking a seat next to Mel.
