Disaster Button (Liz/Lowie) Empty Disaster Button (Liz/Lowie)

Liz was babysitting her. Out of all the people in the world to babysit her, it was Liz. Not Mel, or James, or Matthew, or Will, or even Lucy. Liz. She'd sort of wished she'd ran to the neighbour's house as soon as it was announced, but then Liz had said something about going out, and she didn't want to pass up the oportunity to go to the bookshop.

Except it was sort of obvious Liz didn't want to go to the bookshop. She'd dragged Willow to a place she'd never been to, and had proceeded to drag her around the town, visiting various stores. For the most part, Willow just followed her like a lost puppy, but now she'd spotted the library across the road, and she really, really wanted to go.

"Erm, Liz?" Willow asked hesitantly, trying to decide how much she wanted to go to the library. "Can-can I go to the library while you shop?"

Lizbet really hated babysitting. Lizbet really hated babies. And children. Just people in general. And hanging around with Willow wasn't fun when they weren't around their other siblings. Actually, Willow was never fun. So Liz wasn't exactly happy that she had to be the one to babysit the little angel.

Liz had - with hope that shopping with Willow would be better than doing nothing - dragged her little sister out. But it turned out that shopping with Willow in silence was even worse than just sitting with Willow in silence, doing nothing. Doing nothing was better than shopping. Yes, it turned out that was possible.

When Willow talked to her, it took Liz a moment to actually realize the girl had been addressing her. Oh, Willow can speak? That's epic. "You want to go to the library?" Once the girl's question had replayed a couple of times in Lizbet's head, she raised her eyebrows. Why would anyone ever go to the library? God this kid was really a weird one. "Okay sure." Maybe this wasn't a bad idea, if she thought about it at least now Liz would be rid of her sister and have some time to spend on her own. "You'll be alright on your own right? Fantastic. Go on then, I'm gonna do some shopping."

Willow felt her heart lift when Lizbet said she could go to the library. She wasn't really expecting her to say no. She was fairly certain Liz wanted rid of her just as much as she wanted to leave. Willow ignored the fact that this made her slightly upset, focusing on the fact that she was going to be going to the library instead. She was surprised when Liz told her to go on her own. Usually she was taken to places and then left, rather than wandering around on her own. Wandering around on her own made her nervous.

But this was Lizbet, so Willow sucked up her nerves and wandered away from the girl, eyes fixated on the library as she walked along the street, clutching the edges of her coat in her hands. She didn't know what she was worrying about. It was only walking down the street. There was nothing scary about that. Perfectly fine.

She jumped slightly as she felt someone brush against her side, letting out a yelp as she stepped backwards and lost her footing on some steps, trying to grasp onto the wall but failing as she began to fall, letting out a cry as she knocked her foot awkwardly on the steps as she tumbled down, landing on her side on the floor, grimacing as she pushed herself into a sitting position, pleased that she'd avoided to bang her head. Though her ankle really did hurt now.

Just as she was pushing herself up, using the wall of the small alley to support herself, she heard a voice behind her. She jumped again and whimpered as the sharp movement shot through her ankle, though it was all forgotten at the sight of a hunched old lady blocking the stairs, a smile on her face that sent shivers down Willow's spine. The woman was asking her if she needed help. "I'm-I'm fine. Really."

"Let me look at your foot..."

Even the woman's voice was off. Willow shook her head, insisting she was fine, telling the woman she wasn't allowed to talk to strangers. Because she wasn't allowed to talk to strangers. But then the woman was reaching out for her and walking towards her, and Willow was backing away, shaking her head again, the words the lady was saying not registering anymore. She was more focused on the blackened nails.

Before she knew what she was doing Willow's legs had begun thinking for her, racing her off down in the opposite direction, down a few sharp corners. This place was like a maze. And it was dark and damp and cold. And there was something off about the whole place. Something that made her want to run back to Liz and go shopping. She didn't like not knowing where she was. Especially when she didn't like the place where she was. But she didn't want to go back, not to where that old lady was.

When she started to walk slower, she began to feel the pain in her ankle spark again, making her stop next to what looked like a shop, though the windows were really too dusty to see through. She raised her ankle, looking to see if she could see what was wrong. She couldn't tell though.

But then someone was spraying something in her face that made her gag and choke, wafting the air in hopes of getting it away. Willow turned to the source of the smell, seeing another old witch, a perfume bottle in her hand, squeezing it again to spray more of the offending smell into Willow's nostrils.

The witch said something. But she couldn't hear it. Her ears were starting to buzz and she was feeling dizzy. She began to move again, this time with a bit of a limp to her walk, heading off as quickly as she could in a random direction, her sense of her surroundings getting worse and worse. She was too dizzy to really pay attention.

She didn't notice anything again until someone had grasped her arm and had begun dragging her, letting out a shriek as she turned, seeing a bony hand attached to her. There was a man, pulling her towards him, the same dark, creepy look about him that the whole place had, thin enough that she could see his bones poking through. Her ears were still buzzing, but she didn't like the way he was picking at her braclet. It was a present that she didn't plan on parting with anytime soon.

As she began to pull away someone else had grabbed her other hand, this time the fingers bigger. The man bigger. Wide and towering over her and the other man as he gave her a look that made her very, very uncomfortable. She began trying to wriggle her arms out of both their grasps as they began arguing over something. She didn't care what it was. She wanted out. The tightness that they were holding her arms was beginning to hurt.

She managed to wriggle out their grasp just as the bony man looked like he was about to smack the fat one, racing off as quickly as she could, ignoring the pain in her ankle. She just had to get away. It felt like the walls were closing in on her. She stumbled into the wall, her arm scraping against it as she used it to keep her steady, mind still blurred as she tried to find an exit. It looked like there was no end. There had to be an end.

She let out another shriek as someone else picked her up, doing something she didn't think she'd ever done. She began kicking and screaming against the person that was holding her, though her arms were trapped by her sides. She felt her cheeks becoming wet. She was being carried somewhere-where was she being carried?! She continued to scream and struggle, voice becoming dry, not used to being used at such a volume. She wanted to go home. She didn't want to be carried away. She just wanted to leave.

Before she knew it she was dropped back onto a floor, the person who had carried her leaving, though she wasn't concerned with whoever it was. She stood up on wobbly legs, glancing round her with wide eyes. She was back where she was supposed to be? She didn't know, she couldn't remember it that well, it had been a new place, but it certainly wasn't where she'd just been. Willow felt her insides break as she crumbled to a heap on the floor, unable to stand much longer. She huddled into herself, pleased to be safe, yet still feeling lost. And so scared.

After threading through a bunch of stores, Liz had gotten hungry and bored. She‘d been hoping she‘d run into someone fun, but she hadn't so shopping became boring very easily and she was wanting to go home.

But first she had to find that bloody Library that Willow had wanted to go to. Liz was honestly still puzzled over that. Who went to Libraries? And why? They had nothing but bunch of boring books that had been read far too many times by far too many people.

Sighing, the red head continued her walk, swinging her bags back and forth (even if it had been boring, she had still managed to buy herself a couple of things). Looking around, something caught her attention; someone was lying on the ground, huddled in a ball and it only took Lizbet moments to recognize her sister‘s long blonde hair.

"Willow?" Liz‘s eyes went wide as she hurried towards the girl, placing her bags on the ground. "Willow? Are you alright? What happened?" she placed a hand on Willow‘s shoulder, in an attempt to turn her so she could get a look at her face. "Did you get yourself lost?" Lizbet sighed slightly, kneeling now beside her little sister. She cleared her throat, her stomach making her feel slightly sick and her chest tightened at the scared look on Willow‘s face. "C‘mon, Willow..." Liz bit her lip. "Should we go home?"

Willow barely noticed someone joining her, only hearing the fuzzy sound of bags shuffling, and the shadow of someone looming over her. She looked up as he brain slowly processed who was talking, looking up at Liz, slightly afraid that she was going to look up and it was going to not be Liz. She didn't think she'd been so pleased to see her youngest older sister though.

She opened her mouth to speak, but only a croaky sob came out, her hand clasping over her mouth, unable to stop the shakes that wracked her body, feeling completely and utterly petrified. She nodded at the question of whether she wanted to go home, though once she started nodding she found it kind of difficult to stop. She tried to stand up, but her ankle still ached, and it was still hard to stand on.
