Like Toy Soldiers (Lukas and James)

[Lukas Ash Mohr]

Lukas walked to the River Styx Club, alone, hoping to find some girl to have fun with tonight.

Entering the club he saw no girl who he wanted to talk to, so he just walked to the bar and sat down, ordering himself fire whiskey, he was going to wait and see if some girl would catch his eye, but he had the feeling it was not going to happen tonight, after all, it wasn't a weekend, so most of the girls were somewhere else. There weren't many people in the club, maybe ten people except for him and the bartender.

James entered the River Styx, his hair was messy and he looked tired. He had had a long day. Two weeks ago, his father had passed away. Today, he helped his mother clean the house, because she wasn't in a state to do it herself. He was exhausted, not because the cleaning was so hard, but because of the memories that all the stuff held. It made him sad.

He walked over to the bar and ordered a fire whiskey. As soon as it was handed to him, he drank the amber colored liquid, not leaving a drop in the small glass. He welcomed the burning taste it gave him, and ordered another one. It was then he noticed the man sitting not to far away from him.

"Sorry," he muttered, sitting on one of the chairs. "Rough day," he added.

Lukas noticed the man come in and down his fire whisky in one sip before ordering another one.

"Hey, man.. you don't see me judging you." He said, he had come here often to drown his sorrows, most of the times going home with some girls who meant nothing to him.

"Hi, I'm Lukas, but you can call me Ash." He said and stretched out his hand.

James shook the other man's hand. "Name's James, but you can call me James," he said with a smirk. The bartender brought him his second fire whiskey and this time James only took a sip. The liquid still burned his troth, but the blond man liked the feeling. He placed the glass back on the bar, to prevent from drinking it all in once again.

"So, Ash, what brings you here?" James asked.

Lukas took a sip from his fire whiskey.

"Nice to meet you James." He said and smirked. He liked the man's sense of humor.

"What brought me here was the need of fun." He answered, when he said fun he meant girls to hook up with. But he only saw girls he had already hooked up with and he never did the same girl twice.

"How about you? Did your bad day bring you here, or did fun bring you here?"

James stared at his glass while the other man talked and then thought 'oh what the heck,' and he downed the rest of the fire whiskey. Then he signed the bartender to leave the bottle. He needed this. He then turned back to Lukas, it wasn't like he would see him ever again.

"It was mostly my bad day," he said. "But a little bit of fun is never something I would deny," he added with a chuckle. The bartender left the bottle on the bar and James poured himself another glass, and then looked at Lukas half empty glass. "Want some?" he asked.

Lukas looked at the bottle.

"I never refuse a drink." He said and smirked.

He looked over to the dance floor and noticed a fine little lady walking over to the bar.

"Ash? Is that you?" She asked in a bubbly tone.

'Oh shit, that chick.' He thought and acted like he didn't know her. "No? You must've mixed me up with someone else." He answered and hoped she would believe him and go away, after all, she had been quite drunk that night..

"Oh, okay then." She said and ordered a drink and went back to the dance floor. Lukas was relieved, he always tried to avoid talking to the girls he had slept with.

James smirked and filled Lukas glass again. Before he placed the bottle back on the table, he took a large swig from it. He slowly felt the alcohol begin to kick in, James never had been really tolerant to it. But he wanted it to take over. It would make him feel better.

When a girl walked up to them and asked Ash if he was Ash, and the other man denied, James stayed silent. The girl walked away and James tilted his head slightly while still looking at the other man. The girl made him wonder about something. What was it, what she saw in this man. He guessed Lukas wasn't bad looking. For some reason James suddenly thought his hair would feel very soft. He had the urge to touch it, but he forced himself to stay seated.

He blinked two times and then realized what he was doing. His eyes widened slightly. Why was he thinking that, he shook his head and took another swig of fire whiskey, not even caring anymore what anyone thought about him.

"Wanna dance?" he had asked it before he even noticed.

Lukas saw James look at his hair, and felt a little uncomfortable, but he decided not to think about it. But the real shock came few moments later when he other man asked him to dance.

He, Lukas Ash Mohr, dancing with another man? That would totally ruin his image.

"Erm, no thank you." He said, he wasn't drunk enough for that yet, first, he wasn't a good dancer, second, he wouldn't dance with other men sober.

James only looked a little offended for a second, before he caught himself. He could get whoever he wanted. He didn't mind this man saying no. Taking one last swig from the bottle, the alcohol definitely started to affect him. He placed the bottle back on the bar and jumped off the chair. "Your loss, mate," he said with a smirk, and then he made his way towards the dance floor.

The club wasn't as crowded as it normally was, but it wasn't empty either. James quickly drowned himself in the rhythm of the beat. He only danced on his own for a little while, then there suddenly was a girl. James had no idea who she was, nor did he care. He placed one hand on her hip, and continued dancing. He had always been a good dancer, but he never danced when there was someone close whom he knew.

Lukas laughed as he watched James getting drunker and drunker, and then when he entered the dance floor, he laughed anymore.

Watching the girl approach James, he smirked, he knew that girl, she was somewhere between 22-23 years old and was a bit feisty.

Lukas took a sip from his fire whiskey and turned around on he chair, checking the dance floor yet again, but he could not see a girl he hadn't already hooked up with, so he just took another sip from his whiskey and watched James dance.

After three more songs, James detached himself from the girl. It had been fun while it lasted, but now he didn't want to dance with her anymore. She didn't seem to be too offended, because she quickly found another person to dance with. James made his way back to the bar, seeing Lukas still sitting there.

"Oh come one, you're not going to sit here all evening, are you?" he asked, he reached out for his bottle, which was still there. This time he poured a generous amount of the liquid into his glass. He knew he probably should stop drinking, but at that time he didn't care.

"You were the one who came here for the fun," he continued with a smirk, and he took a large sip from his drink. "Come on," he said, and he held out his hand. He didn't exactly know what had gotten into him, and why. But he wanted to dance with this man. And when James wanted something, he would get it.

When James came back from the dance floor, Lukas glanced over the dance floor but couldn't see anyone he would consider fun. He was starting to feel a little tipsy, so he took James' bottle and took a big sip of it.

"Oh, alright then." He said and stood up. He didn't take James' hand but headed straight to the dance floor, and turned around.

"You coming then?" He almost yelled and starting moving along with the music.

James rolled his eyes at the other man, snatched the bottle from the bar and then followed him to the dance floor. The bar was getting more crowded now, like it normally was. He followed Lukas to the middle of the dancefloor and pressed the bottle in his hand. James had the feeling he needed it more then he did. He already was a little lightheaded at the moment.

He started moving to the beat of the music again, not finding it hard to lose himself i it.

Lukas took the bottle and took another big sip, feeling a little lightheaded he started dancing, they didn't have to dance alone for long. Two girls Lukas did not know, came over to them and started dancing with them.

"Hi I'm Andrea and this is Carol." One of the girls shouted and took the bottle out of Lukas' hand and took a sip from it, almost emptying it.

James watched the two girls appear and he smiled at them. He watched as the girl who introduced herself as Andrea drown the rest of his bottle, only leaving a little of the liquid in it. That annoyed him, though he wasn't quite sure why. When she was finished he grabbed his own bottle, and drank the rest himself. Now, he was definitely drunk. He staggered towards a table and placed the empty bottle on it, before walking back to the others.

He grabbed the girl named Carol and started dancing with her. His arms slipped around her waist as she moved on the beat of the music. Usually the dancing gave him more pleasure, but now it just felt like something he had to do.

Lukas kept dancing to the girl, he had already forgotten her name, but hey, it wasn't his fault she wasn't memorable.

"So James," He yelled because of the music, "do you come here often?" He asked, still dancing with the unmemorable girl. The girl looked offended for being almost ignored like that so she looked at him and tried to kiss him, but he avoided the kiss, waiting for James' reply.

The girl decided to leave and took the other girl with her, as she stormed up to the bar.

In James mind, it seemed to be incredibly funny Lukas was ignoring the other girl to talk to him. He was trying to find the right words to answer the other man's question when the girl was suddenly ripped from his arms and she and the other girl stalked back to the bar. James chuckled and took a step closer to Lukas, so the man would be able to hear his answer better.

"No, not that often," he said, he almost had to yell to make himself be heard over the music. "What about you?" he asked.

"Oh, I come here quite a lot, most of the time to have fun, like tonight." He said, and suddenly found it extremely funny.

Maybe it was because of the alcohol, but he felt a little dizzy, and he thought that even more funny, he kept dancing and laughing. James was fun to hang around with, but there was something weird about him, he just couldn't put his finger on it.

While he danced, James spent most of his time staring at Lukas. He had no idea why he did it, but for some reason he found the man suddenly very interesting. He had never looked at another man like this before. It was weird, but James was so drunk that he didn't care. They kept dancing, James was feeling a little dizzy. And then when suddenly a couple walked behind him, because they wanted to get to the bar, he lost his balance and fell forward.

He fell right into Lukas, him being the person closest to him. They were closer now than that they had even been this night. James couldn't recall the last time he had been this close to a man. Maybe that was because he had never been this close to a man before at all.

He looked up, about to apologize, but then the words stuck in his mouth. Lukas' face was suddenly so close, and James couldn't think straight anymore. He did the first thing that came into his mind. He moved forward, softly pressing his lips against the other man's.

When James kissed him, Lukas was shocked, but decided to kiss him back, because he was too drunk to even care. Kissing a guy, was really strange for him, since he only did girls and was thereby straight, but experiments were part of the human nature right?

When Lukas kissed him back, James realized what he was doing. He was kissing. He was kissing a guy. But he was too far gone to stop now. He felt something he hadn't felt before while he was kissing a girl. He had always thought kissing a girl, was kind of dull. But he just thought everyone felt that way. But now, while kissing someone he didn't even know, kissing someone who was male, he felt so much more.

Almost automatic, his hands went up and curled themselves in the other man's blond hair. It felt like James thought it would. After what seemed minutes, James pulled away because he was in need of air, and he was quite sure the other man was too.

"I'm sorry," he said softly, he was still close enough to talk normally and still be heard above the music.

Lukas felt a bit awkward, but he was drunk, and horny so he just led it past him and looked at James.

"Nothing to say sorry about." He said and smiled. he felt as he was going to fall right in that moment, so he grabbed James, trying to get his balance back.

"Dude, I'm drunk and horny, so kiss me again?" He asked, not waiting for an answer and kissed James full force.

Before James realized what happened, he was kissing Lukas again. All his former thoughts left his head as he kissed the other man back and tried to hold back a moan that was forming on his lips. He leaned heavily on Lukas, feeling like he would fall if he didn't.

"Come with me?" he asked as they broke apart again. His hands were buried in the other man's hair again. He bit down on Lukas' lip teasingly, and then kissed him again.

Before Lukas could answer James' question, he was kissing James again, finally, he broke the kiss and answered.

"Come with you where?" He looked at him with curiosity in his eyes. James was a very handsome man, but something told Lukas, he shouldn't be doing this, that this wasn't right, but he was too drunk to even care.
