Opening the Closet (Sky/Jess)

Sky was usually a smart guy. He knew better than to go outside on a full moon (Mars having two). He knew better than to wander around aimlessly while he was half asleep. But, he was a sleep deprived teenage boy, and, thus, he decided to get some air.
Sky made his way down to the lake, looking up at the star lit sky (Get it? Sky? Cause his name is--not funny. Moving on...). He wasn't really paying attention until he heard the sound of ripping fabric and pain filled screams. He looked around and saw...a girl. He recognized her from class. She was a first year (obviously) Lacerta. Her name was Jessica Winters.
He made a move to go towards her, but something told him not to. Sky was the kind of guy that went with his gut, and, right now, his gut was screaming one thing: GET THE HECK OUT OF HERE! So, ignoring the guilty feeling he got, he hid behind a boulder, gripping his wand just in case.

Tonight had been the night Jess had been really not looking forward too. It was only her second full moon and she had still been sore from the last time.
If she had stayed on earth she would have had one full moon a month, but since she was on mars ,one month she would change once, then the next month she would change twice.
Jessica walked down to her usual spot by the lake, watching it shimmer under the cool night air. She hoped no one would be stupid enough to come outside.
Watching Deimos come out from behind the clouds she started to find herself changing. Letting out a scream as she felt her skin tearing apart, and her clothes shredding into pieces.
Painfully, she felt claws coming out from her fingers and the hair pricking up like knives cutting through her skin. She refused to give herself up fully to the wolf and fought back enough to keep him from controlling her mind.
When she was fully transformed she shook her fur and walked out into the open. Unlike male werewolves, female werewolves were different and looked like actual wolves, just scarier.
Kind of like an animagus, except for the fact they were slightly larger in size, had red eyes, were faster, had better teeth, were stronger, and had a better sense of smell.
Jess in particular was a pure white wolf. She had red eyes with a ring of gold around them and a clean shiny coat.

There were three things Sky knew as he watched Jessica's transformation. 1) Jess was a werewolf. 2) Mar's moon was weirdly shaped. And, 3) he really shouldn't have come outside tonight.
Sky's grip on his wand tightened as he watched the white wolf walk around. He didn't know whether the wolf was in control, or if Jess still had her mind. He wasn't really planning on finding out.
Of course, the universe had some vendetta against him, and decided to have him trip over a rock. His wand fell out of his hand, landing near Wolf-Jess, and he grunted as he stood up.
Universe, I know you hate me, but, seriously?

Jess had been walking towards the lake when she felt something being thrown at her. She heard a grunt and sharply turned her head to look.
She saw a boy she knew from class, Sky she thought his name was, stupidly trying to hide behind a boulder.
Jess felt the wolf start to take control of her mind and she crouched down to attack. Before she sprung she heard a howl of a regular wolf and straightened up.
Turning around she took off after that wolf, leaving the boy alive. After all, it was Werewolf instinct to keep there territory, and that wolf was invading.

There were very few times that Sky would ever admit (to himself and others) that he was scared. This was one of them. As the wolf crouched, he felt his heart hammering in his chest.
To say he was relieved when the other wolf howled would be an understatement. Sky made a promise that if he ever saw the wolf that howled, he would snog it for saving his life (not that he'd enjoy it or anything).
Once Wolf-Jess was gone, Sky picked up and ran back to his dorm thinking one thing: I am never going outside during a full moon again.
